Information Access Systems, Inc. provides end-to-end technology solutions in the fields of business consulting, development, application integration, training, and support of document management systems. They came to Presentek because they wanted to revamp their web site and increase their positioning with four key vertical solutions that they provide services for, as well as generate more sales leads through the site. Their desire was also to create a site that would have the proper foundation and functionality to be able to expand the site and build a members-only area in the future, while making the site easy to update for their internal staff. Presentek worked with IAS on a market discovery process researching sites and user experiences they liked, and which colors and styles they preferred. Their core message was also worked into a simplified one sentence approach, which was hard to achieve while emphasizing four vertical markets.
The end result was a complete redesign of their web site. The new site features animated banners on the home page with simplified messages for their key vertical markets, an improved easy to use navigation and menu process, detailed supporting pages with specific calls to action and a simplified gateway to collect user information accessing case studies or white papers. The site was built using PHP, MySQL and the CakePHP framework to provide the needed foundation to expand their site and the functionality when they are ready. The web site was designed with web standards, meaning the web pages were created using standards-compliant XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and following guidelines set forth by the W3C. This gives the site a quick load time as well as an improved ability to rank higher in search engines results.
The vision for our website was to provide our end users, prospective customers, and partners access to Information Access Systems extensive capabilities and experience in deploying ECM solutions. Thanks to the Presentek team, our new website design is fantastic, easy to navigate, and provides a simple way for our clients to access the right information they need to solve their business issues. We have really enjoyed working with Presentek and truly believe that their staff has brought tremendous value to our company!
